I promise to return with a new full article soon... on what I don't know. But a few newsworthy items this morning; Cadillac Williams (RB, TB Buccaneers), out for the year. This time it wasn't an ACL but it could be worse. Maybe things really do happen in threes, either way, I feel bad for Cadillac as some athletes have been known to not fully recover from a torn patellar tendon.
In more exciting news, the regular season in MLB should be over but the Rockies late surge coupled with the Padres meltdown over the weekend in Milwaukee has forced a one game contest to decide this years NL Wild Card and eventual Phillies opponent in the 1st round of the playoffs. The Pads have their ace, Jake Peavy taking the mound so it should be a great game (better than the Pats vs. Bengals Monday Night football affair).
One new baseball trade rumor swirling around this morning has the Dodgers and Twins talking. That's right my Dodgers in talks to get the best pitcher (Johan Santana) in baseball. How could I not be elated! Sure we'd have to give up two future stars in Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw but if the Dodgers make this deal and sign Santana to a contract extension then watch out, the Dodgers will have a tremendous rotation going into 2008! I will say this though, I hope Colletti can figure out a way to swap out Kemp for LaRoche in this deal.
Also, feel free to read down below regarding Arod. Imagine Arod and Santana joining the Blue Crew this off-season. The best hitter and pitcher added for 2008! Are you kidding me, it could happen! Fans in LA, let's hope so.

Santana can't go to LA. That's 5 less wins for Sabathia if he leaves the Twins. 20 game winner five years straight if LA gets him though.
